The success of this set was not entirely unexpected, however. If the universal and widespread acclaim of LIVE! their first concert recording was an indicator, all involved knew that a Bob Marley & the … |

EPIPHONE JUNIOR MODEL ELECTRIC GUITAR 6 String Musical $109.99 |
Many musicians in recent years have fallen in love with the Secretary General and have remained loyal to Gibson. Guitarra Mac Pro 5 Crack Here is some history of the GS for you to enjoy.
Around 1960, the Gibson guitar manufacturers through suffering of falling sales. Not that the Les Paul was not selling, as it was very good. The problem was that the music developed and musicians looking for a sound, or tone, unlike what has the Les Paul.
Thus, in 1961, Gibson radically altered the shape of the body and it was now thinner, lighter and now appears double cutaway neck area that allows greater access to higher frets. He took his neck in a heavier construction and articulation of the neck was raised around three frets higher. This was done in the hope of competing with the model of Fender Stratocaster, which became popular then.
The new design was marketed with the fastest neck "in the world" and this was largely a fact. The neck had a slimmer profile (side) and the higher neck joint, the heel was no longer an obstacle, as was the case with the Les Paul.
Another name that was requested because the guitar did not look like a Les Paul. Since the guitar was viruses inventor, Les Paul (the inventor of the electric guitar and the Les Paul design), asked that his name be withdrawn completely redesigned.
Thus, the good people of brainstorming and Gibson asked that the new model a "SG". Guitar Ironically, this was simply short for "solid".

The Gibson factory there were a lot of plastic "Les Paul" identification tags in stock. So while Les Paul's name was retired in 1961, Gibson SG continued to manufacture the plate between the truck and the highest fret board until the end of 1963. Find one of these principles SG plate of a Les Paul would be a real collector's piece is valuable.
Since the OS was introduced in early 1961, variations there have been numerous bear the name of SG. There was a standard model (SG Standard), and a junior model (SG Junior). Then the top line of Gibson SG Custom made the scene. Interestingly, the Custom SG 1961-63 manufactured say "SG" in them, however, had a plate of signature Les Paul under the fret board, like all Les Paul's.
From 1961 to early '63, The soul cover of the standard OS was engraved with "Les Paul". The Secretary General guard presented a small collection of models between 1961 and 1965. Then in 1966, another slight redesign took place. Now, the Secretary General was a guy different collar and a set of bat wings on duty came in the form of select 1967 models upwards.
The design was strong until around 1970 or so. The year 1971 saw the launch of a new version of the GS with a floating pick guard recalls Les Paul. Also the control board was mounted from the front to reduce the construction cost.
A variety of quality molars are offered as options too. Most notable were the "Master" the "lever Lira" and the vibrato Bigsby tremolo arm. Some new designs are put into play with the design of new tailpiece. Some of these were the SG 100 (a low-end version that was more affordable) and GS 200 (with two single coil pickups). At the top end of the spectrum is the SG SG Pro and luxury models SG.
Gibson returned to the original design of the GS in 1973. The pick guard was to protect small retro original selection and controls were transferred to the rear neck back and noticed more in the body with a rallying point around the fret XX. But late in that decade, all GS models again mostly for age design. Current models are now made with construction 1967-1969, the largest LP style pick guard that surrounds the tablets in the SG body. The variations are still available with the small peak guard. Return to the SG issues are common and popular.
These guitars are like brothers, 1960, unless a is now standard stop tailpiece. Models of the GS with a vibrato tailpiece are now a custom item or a special edition model.
The first SG had active factory pickups was introduced in 1980. Gibson SG tested a model with the same Moog electronic assets that are used (or has used) in an earlier model called the Artist DR. This experimental SG wearing a thick body because of the added circuits strangers. This model was affectionately nicknamed the "Gibson SG-R1.
The SG-R1 was solid mahogany wood with a glossy black finish. He had no guard selection, the worry scale "points" opposed the original trapezoidal Featured barrel and transparent controls for treble and bass ranging from "0" to "5" or "-5" instead of "1" to "10". There was also an additional switch to activate a "drive" on the bridge pickup.
The SG-R1 had a fixed bridge with a tremolo / whammy Standard bar. Renamed Gibson SG-R1 "SG Artist" circa 1981 and later was suspended. Of the SG, there were only about 200 ever made.
