My dad has a Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty says 82. Without But when we look on the Web For more information, we found none. Another interesting thing about guitar is that it is only in bands. Purchased the guitar in 1983 for $ 600. In the back of the head of the serial number is 83012500, then it is "Made in USA" and then below 0079 that. This guitar is incredible, but we can not find any information. Thanks
