Les Paul raw power

what is a good intermediate guitar?
Does anyone know anything about the power of raw guitars? ie raw power SG / Les Paul raw power hard … or what about a Epiphone LP studio? im lookin for a guitar just under 1000 may be a little more, but it doesn't matter much …. What are some good and some guitars? Please include links to photos and prices as if you can:) thanks a lot
If you like the fat blues, rock sound, get a Les Paul or Jackson with active pickups. I recommend the Jackson DK2 is not expensive, but both have 24 frets, floyd rose, etc. .. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Jackson-DK2-Dinky-Electric-Guitar-2008-Model?sku=511668 Now, I own a Les Paul 1969. They are the best of rock, etc.. but lack a trem system. I had an old and Jackson have to admit the sound and the response is simply incredible. Also, I even get the Fender sound that LOL. Depends on what you want to play. Today, the guitarist has a 2 guitars so you can change depending on what they play. The Epiphone LP Studio is not a really bad guitar. Having one of those also in the study. Surprisingly, the mast and the action is quite good. But it does not compare with that of Jackson. If you want a Epiphne, get the Les Paul Standard in place. http://www.zzounds.com/cat–Epiphone–3542
