Les Paul
Like the Fender Stratocaster, the Gibson Les Paul has become an icon of music favored by guitarists of different styles such as rock, metal, blues, jazz and country. Slash to Jimmy Page, the Les Paul lovers everywhere. For us mere mortals, there is usually a major barrier to owning a Gibson Les Paul. They do not come cheap, unfortunately! The average selling price of a new guitar is more than $ 2,000, which is no small change. What is a devotee of the Les Paul to do?
Beware of the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus.
Apart from its head Epiphone brand, an Epiphone Les Paul is a guitar made in Korea played, feel, and looks like a more expensive Gibson Les Paul, without the expensive price tag. It even has the signature of the greatLes Paul in the head. So how to height?
We played a transparent blue Les Paul Standard Plus Top, and I have to comment that the test model has one of the peaks more delicious than I in this price range. The calculation is absolutely beautiful, and is beautifully complemented by her cream-colored binding and chrome hardware. Aesthetically, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top is simply guitar murderer.
Having used a Gibson Les Paul Standard for a long time, I was curious to note how the Epiphone Les Paul to height, and I must admit I was very impressed. The slim-tapered neck reminds me to 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard neck and in many ways was much faster my Gibson Les Paul Standard with 50-style neck. The rosewood fingerboard felt great and the frets were smooth and well polished yet, but not as pristine as my Gibson Les Paul. That said, the draft is still very good, especially given the low cost of the instrument.
The tablets deliver the crisis alnico classic Les Paul Classic the bridge pickup and a round, smooth tone from the neck pickup. I usually exchange guitars pills new shares and would probably do the same here. I a Duncan JB and Jazz in this wonderful sound of Electric Guitar, but the replacement pills will be more of a trend than a necessity. These pickups sound very good and may be what you are waiting, without replacement pills. They did happen to make some noise a bit at high volumes, but not so terrible.
The advantages and disadvantages in a model like this guitar not terribly apparent. Epiphone save money by using a cover sheet set fire to non-flamed maple. Similarly, Gibson Les Paul, where the standards bodies are made from a single slab of mahogany, is laminated Mahogany Body Epiphone, as is the neck of the guitar. However, these cost-saving decisions that guitar that weigh much less than their counterparts of Gibson. For the cost you pay, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top is a beautiful sound and without effort playable Les Paul for a minute fraction of the cost of the Gibson model.
