How can rebind Les Paul guitar which has already finished it?
I'm building a Les Paul style electric guitar kit. Has white binding on it that I want so I was wondering how to relink a guitar without having to carry a luthier???
It depends on how it ended. if the end is at the top of the union, you have to remove the finish and then remove and replace the link. If you understand that binding would not completely eliminate the union would be a bad idea because it is difficult and would be left with a large ridge that you must fill and if you have a see-through so will be very bad.
