How do wiring Electric Guitar a Fender Stratocaster?
Well, I have a Fender Squier Stratocaster 2. a friend gave it to me because the wiring is disordered in that top .. I guess we did not want to fix it .. So I opened it. and I want to know, is there a site that can give me step by step instructions on how to reconnect all the wires on an electric guitar. and how. thanks: D
I just do the same job in a Squier II, it was not difficult. The type 'wiring stratocaster "on Google Image search and you'll get a lot of wiring diagrams – all are basically the same, so should not be difficult to find one you can use. I just picked one with the largest dimensions in order to print it for reference while working on the thing. With step by step instructions, cable guitar is only a matter of knowing how to use a soldering iron (heat to the portion, the solder) and very basic knowledge electricity (to avoid ground loops). Since you are wiring this thing from scratch, all you have to do is compare his with the diagram and should not be difficult find the problem. I've included some examples below, can help.
