Should I buy an Epiphone Les Paul Custom or a Gibson les Paul Studio was lost? not so much at $ 800 but is better?
Although for the gibson that the paint job sucks? EPIPHONE or to give the best view there is a diffrence in the sound?
Gibson, as you know are the guitar a "better", though I'd say get the one that really wants. It should by rights of a difference in the sound (you hope), but at the end of the day, I think the differences are played only will be evident through the amplifiers of the upper platform, and if you are looking to buy an Epiphone, probably does not have an amplifier for $ 3000 I guess?. Even if so, who cares how it sounds, if your playing a guitar you have a paint job that stinks? 
. In addition, another option, get the epidemic, after upgrading to good pickups / electronics later, then you will have the best of both worlds!
