The Gibson is in perfect Burny used.The conditions and slightly new.
Hi Ryan Buy the guitar that you feel comfortable. Whatever you choose, is what will sound good and that sounds only as good as you. I tried a Burny Rhoades and really was quite impressed. I gave it 8 / 10. That said, Randy Rhoades also played with Jackson. I would like to take a look at this guitar. Nice 24-fret job ande active electronics. The guitar has guts and a very sensitive pitch for sweeps and arpeggios. Les Paul Gibson guitar is a good prize. I have a 1963 Gold Top but also tinker with the Jackson Rhoades appraoched sound. Your choice. get the guitar that can be identified and it feels good when you play it.

Doing what you need for your Home Recording Studio
An important consideration when looking to create a "home studio" is how you will use. You will have to resolve many things you want to record or connect at any time or you could end up with uneccessary arts-or not enough!
Here is an example of "Vinnie" the guitarist who has a desire to show his 'band' that the songs should be played.
No matter how many times have you tried to explain, never quite get it right, so the only way you can do to accomplish this is to record everything "correctly" himself.
What needs to Vinnie?
You need to record a basic drum pattern – Nothing fancy – you want to record two guitars electric, an acoustic guitar, bass and want to record a record a voice major and two accompanying harmonies.
Vinnie, of course, do all this at a time, so even though it needs to record 9 things you need 9 channels?
No.
All you really "need" is a maximum 4 inputs and two pre-amplifiers. He will also need a microphone to sing and record his acoustic guitar, we will assume you have a amp simulator guitar for recording guitars and basses and has a physical drum machine or one inside your computer or standalone hard disk recorder.
Vinnie easily could go down to your local music store or get online and find what you need to do the job. I could look into a package with computer recording software adequate and sound card specializes in audio recording. Some companies offer these packages, all in a Lexicon, M-Audio, Presonus Pro-Tools and are brand names look good as a starting point, but please note that recording on a computer can be frustrating if you're not computer savy.
Alternatively, Vinnie is independent of the hard disk recorder with a built in mixer section. Either offereings Fostex, Yamaha or Boss / Roland would take care of their needs at this point Vinnie just wants to get their ideas on the physical plane as soon as possible so that others can hear them, so you probably will need a recorder CD released in the equation unless your machine can connect to a computer as a number of them can do now.
Now let's see another example of playing Barabra in a village of four pieces / rock band. They want to record a few songs for CD release. All instruments used his band are acoustic bass, violin, guitar and banjo.
Three of the groups also sing. Barabara is now fortunate to have a large insulated garage available for your group to rehearse and since they do not disturb neighbors for making too much noise it records the band as a "whole" for better environment, what is needed?

There are some limitations with autonomous recorders, some of them only allow you to record 2 channels at once, another thing to be aware of is the "quality" of recordings.
A few years ago, during the wars of "compression algorithm, intelligent brains discovered that our ears can "fill" the missing information in the same way that you can watch the scrambled letters of a word, but they are still able to decipher what Boffin Is.The kept removing any remnants of what we heard was listening, until they reached a formula [algorithm] that our ears deceived most time. These are known as 'compressed' formats like the 'crush' the sound so smart that we do not realize.

To make your recordings shine 'I would suggest to get a "outboard" [separate component] pre-amplifier, despite the preamps that high-end Yamaha consoles are gaining a very good reputation. In summary, our friend Vinnie is likely to be very happy with a front disk recorder platform with 4 or more tickets than records 'compressed' files, because you are only trying to show to his colleagues a band of "rough idea" of what he hears things.
