What model of guitar is used Glen Hansard?
I understand that the guitar is a Takamine acoustic and someone has shown us before, but Does anyone know what model of guitar is that? Ask! After getting an answer and more research I think the guitar is a Takamine NP15. You can see some on the eBay site Spain.
I think it is a pre-1980 or F340 Model F300. I have a 12-F400S chain since 1978 and are almost equal. "Once" is a great film!

Your guitar to learn?
There are three main types of guitar that you will encounter. They are:
- Classical Acoustic
– Acoustic
– Electric
Chances are that if you asked someone if you can use your guitar for a while, it would probably be an old classical acoustic guitar or maybe a steel string acoustic.
These guitars are excellent to learn on Electric Guitar, because they require things like tracks, amplifiers, speakers and power. With acoustic guitars, you need only one peak.
The other great thing about acoustic guitars is that you do not can convert them aloud. When you learn it's probably better to play on a guitar that will not be too hard, just enough for your ears can hear their mistakes and their good performances.
If you do not know what kind of guitar you want to play in, ask yourself: 'What kind of music I want to play? "
Choose a song you like for your guitar sound. Listen to the sounds of guitar and only guitar sounds. Are they clean, the soft sounds? Or are tough, heavy or distorted? In general, the acoustic guitars are softer and cleaner. Distorted, heavy sounds from the electric guitars that are connected to amplifiers and effects units. Can you hear the individual notes are to be picked or strummed the strings that are hard? The harder you play, the thicker the strings of your need to be. You need to know what style you want to play.
OK you have found a style of music you like. Try to find out what the band video for the song is and watch it. There will probably be a section where the band is playing. In this part, look at the guitar. Are you playing on an electric guitar or an acoustic guitar? What brand is it? What style? If you know the exact guitar the video, you can ask to play it on your local guitar shop to see if it suits you.
People play guitar for many different reasons. You need to understand what you want to get out of the guitar. To discover your tastes in guitar music, listening to different styles and genres. Ask the musicians in music shops about what kind of guitars different bands use, or ask them what type of amp / effects artists use to get that sound.
The answers have to be exact, as you will think about what you need to buy to achieve the sound you're after.
